Any idea on my friends dream?

In the dream, she was outside in the evening when all of a sudden there was darkness. She desribe that there were other people that she saw outside as well, who were one by one being taken by an orange light. She continues to tell me that she headed inside of a building to hide where she saw several people including her children behind a glass wall. She felt that behind the glass wall was sort of a safehaven. She put her hands against the glass and screamed out to her children to get their attention. She was able to, but she could not get through the glasswall. All she could do is cry tell the others in the room with her children to please protect them. Her last memory was pressing her palms against the glass and she cried. She then woke up in a panic and called her husband. If anyone could help me break down this dream. Id really appreciate the help. Thanks!
