Native Americans- "artifacts..."?

Hi. I am hoping that some Native Americans from any nation can give me their feelings- do you object to the finding/purchasing/collecting of artifacts? Such as knives, arrowheads, pottery, and so forth? I do not wish to perpetuate any stereotypes about "sacred things," but I am aware that some Native Americans object (understandably) to the archaeological rifling through of their graves, collecting and "studying" bones of their ancestors, and so forth, and was wondering if similar feelings extended to tools and other objects. Thanks and forgive me please if my wording betrays any ignorance. :)
