Do christians use religion to control their sexual urges?

The belief in God or any other being doesn't make anyone a better person. You can go to church and still be bad. Its who you are that makes you what you are. I never used God as an excuse not to have sex. It was along the lines of morality, since the Bible does not say sex is evil, just that is is bad in the Lords eyes before marriage.
